Welcome to Kawana Retreat, Dunsborough and thanks for taking the time to visit our holiday haven located in the spectacular South West. Our names are Steve and Kim and we are the owners of Kawana Retreat.
We have always been avid travellers and prior to COVID-19 we would be found venturing to new destinations around the globe, creating wonderful memories, experiencing new cultures and ways of life. While this is on hold for now, it has allowed us time to focus on our polished concrete business in Perth and Kawana Retreat.
Our travels have definitely influenced Kawana Retreat, we have taken pride in creating a space you look forward to coming home too after a full day exploring the region. Thoughtful touches and amenities that will make you feel at home with a sense effortless luxury.
Drawing inspiration from the word or quote "Hygge" meaning: "A calm, comfortable time with people you love. A complete absence of frustrations, or anything emotionally overwhelming, often enjoyed with good food and drinks, warm blankets and candlelight" This is us in a nutshell, the past year has taught us to slow down and enjoy more.

Hi, I'm James Peck, Service Director at Happy Holiday Homes. I love kayaking in the bay, walking my dogs along the beaches, reading, generally enjoying nature and the quiet life with my family. A travel 'graduate' - I left the corporate world a decade ago to relocate to the beautiful south-west of Australia where I owned and managed a small resort further developing my passion for travel and hospitality.
I now enjoy welcoming guests to our terrific region and manage holiday properties for like-minded owners of "happy holiday homes". I'm always happy to help you in anyway that I can during your stay.
